One more little push was all that the Demon-Saiyan was pushing for and this time it was to master a technique taught to him by his Yardrat master Pybara. The technique that was up for debate was the Advanced Spirit Fission and to do this Athren decided against a very simple path to completion. He had found himself in his gravity chamber once again with it cranked up to one hundred and seventy five percent gravity, it was pressing on him just as it was early but this time he had crossed his legs and been hovering slightly above the ground with his eyes closed. He felt the weight of the gravity press down against his muscles but he mentally remained focused on the task at hand. Even if his body was aching and feel strained, Athren was completely lost in his mental image training.
The scene was set at such, Athren had found himself on a plateau within the large and vast landscape of mount Pauzo. The area was as beautiful as ever, it was almost better in the imagery in his head and it was certainly much more peaceful. Though Callion wasn't there to shake the very foundations of the Earth that Athren walked upon, there was somebody in his vision to replace him, somebody much more menacing, somebody that posed a real threat to the entire planet and this individual was non other than Liari herself. The form she had taken accurate to the last one he had witnessed, her power equal to it and her mindset all but the same. Over confident cocky and playing with the weak and his own mind, he was the one that had to fight against her in this image training session but in this case, he would be using his Spirit Fission for maximum effectiveness. Athren didn't truly know the full extent of this ability, he had heard it could split fusion and absorptions but he didn't know if he could pull that off, what he was concerned about was simply getting in touch with it, harnessing it to a better degree so that in a fight, there was no hesitation for the other abilities it had offered him.
The battle in his head had began and both warriors would engage in a very dramatic fight, it would honestly be one for the history books if it were taking place in real time. Both warriors landing equal amount of hits, causing equal amounts of damage but every single hit that Athren had been landing was working towards another goal, not only was it causing damage but it was forcing Spirit right out of Liari and into another reserve pool for him to have access too, one that could be used for so much more than just causing damage, one that could be used to bring back somebody who was recently deceased. This technique would require a lot of focus, even to put energy into one individual to revive them would require a lot of focus, but Athren was determined to do it, determined to pull it off. He wanted to save lives in efforts to walk the path of redemption, he didn't want those innocent or full of good to die and if he could harness the ability to save them, he damn well had to try! There wasn't any backing out of this.
As the fight in his head carried on the damage to both warriors had continued to build up, it was a brutal and ruthless fight that was exerting both warriors but neither would back down, nobody would give in. The reason for Athren's persistence and determination was the corpses of the innocent around, the ones that Liari had slaughtered before Athren's arrival. They were the perfect target for this technique, one where he could really get the feel for it. Even if it were mental image training, it was still beneficial. Athren had immersed himself to the point that it almost felt real and this was a trick he picked up from Yardrat itself. Without Pybara, this form of training never really would've become effective for him, for he didn't have the patience and he had his doubts in training like that. It didn't seem practical and it didn't seem likely that it could work, after all.. it was basically just make belief, but the Yardrat's had their way to convince him and he was glad they did.
As the battle continued, both warriors had their fair share of getting punched through mountains, through rocks and rivers, they had been all over the terrain though there was a moment in time where Athren's Spirit Energy had drawn enough from the physical damage dealt to his opponent and he had a small pause in the fight. It turned out to be the perfect moment to try to revive some of the deceased.
Athren took this one chance that he could and lifted his hand up, almost signalling the energy to follow his command and with a swift motion of his hand moving towards the direction of the bodies, the energy blasted over and collided with them, their bodies briefly being surrounded by a white aura before their hearts had been restarted. The dead that had been brought back to life would slowly get up and look around before realizing what had just happened and run off into the distance.
Now Athren had proven it could work, at least in the most realistic mental image training that was available to him, he needed to do it again with MORE people. Even if this training wasn't 'real' training and only mental, the benefits of it were massive. He really felt like he gathered and understanding about his technique and understood how to use it on a higher frequency. Though there was still one more step that he wanted to complete and the battle still wasn't over. Hopefully he had enough imagination to keep it going until it was done.
